IT’S TIME TO REGISTER FOR SUMMER CAMP!

The museum is excited and thankful to announce that our Summer Camps are open for registration after confirming the details provided by the Governor’s announcement this past Monday.  We have updated our schedule to accommodate the possibility of half-day or full-day camps, just like our holiday camps during the middle of the school year. We have also implemented multiple additional health protocols recommended by the state for this upcoming camp season to ensure the safety of our campers and staff. Below are the recommended protocols provided by the state after the May 18th announcement.

COVID 19 Health Protocols – Responsibility of the Museum

COVID 19 Health Protocols – Responsibility of the Family to their Child

Though we are excited about hosting our camps, we are also sad to announce that the museum will continue to stay closed to the general public until further notice and guidelines have been released from the Governor and state health departments.

As you will see below, all camps will be open to students age 5 to age 12 (entering grade K through 5th except Robotics 2.0*) and will stack 2 camp topics in one week, allowing a full-day camp to have a variety of educational activities for the week. Each week will be available to register as half-day (morning or afternoon) or full-day options.

The camp topics have PART A and then a PART B later in the summer. These topics will not have duplicated activities. Each part will be different and will not be a requirement for both. Part A and Part B is our way of expanding the subject over a longer time frame or two different weeks.

Our popular camps are designed to inspire imagination, creativity, and instill the wonder of learning. Talented staff and volunteers lead explorations and designs through different hands-on interactive projects and visitors from the local community. So join us for some fun hands-on exploring and learning!
