Businesses, families and individuals who support the Southeast Texas Arts Council know that their assistance goes further and works harder than the typical directed arts dollar. That’s because SETAC in turn administers support to so many organizations and endeavors that a donor can truly feel like a pillar for the art and culture scene in Southeast Texas!

Neither a museum nor a performance venue, the Southeast Texas Arts Council is the place for square-one funding of arts and humanities efforts. We promote. We advocate. We educate. We collaborate. We grant. It is our sole mission to uplift the inspired work of established and emerging arts and humanities programs in Jefferson, Hardin, and Orange Counties.

Many organizations struggle for funding and are at a loss as to how to secure support for their programming. SETAC stands in the gap for these groups, gathering resources from the state, corporations, and private entities and distributing them. Joining SETAC ensures we can continue supporting the arts and humanities in the future.
