VIVA! Beaumont – Hispanic Heritage Fest

The City of Beaumont will host VIVA! Beaumont – Hispanic Heritage Festival on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Main Street in Downtown Beaumont.

The festival will offer authentic music, local artists, food trucks and family friendly activities. Featuring live Salsa performances and Lucha libre wrestling in addition to music from the Houston based Tejano band, Sandy G y Los Gavilanes. There will be activities available for all ages such as the traditional Hispanic card game, Lotería. A variety of food trucks will offer delicacies for all to enjoy and beer and micheladas will also be available for purchase. 

Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. No outside alcohol, tents/canopies, large umbrellas, pets or cooking equipment will be permitted. Coolers and bags subject to search.

About Sandy G y Los Gavilanes:

Sandy G made her debut on March 11, 2013 performing on Tejano Day at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, headlining at The Hideout with over 5,000 people in attendance. Sandy G followed up her debut performance on April 6, 2013 in Humble, Texas at the Humble Convention Center for The Tejano Music Fest 2013 sharing the stage with Tejano legends La Mafia, Emilio Navaira, Jay Perez, Fito Olivares and many more. Sandy performed at many clubs, festivals, and private shows throughout the Texas region all of 2013 and has also made appearances in TV shows such as Corpus Christi’s Domingo Live and other local stations. 

Sandy was then invited to perform in very high profile events in 2014 such as Tejano Day at The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo for the second consecutive year, Tejano Fest 2014, San Antonio’s Tejano Fan Fair, as well as festivals that were held in San Antonio, Houston, and Angleton. Sandy released her first single titled “Mejor Sola Que Contigo” released September 25, 2014 and is definitely looking forward to introducing herself and her music to people all over the world.
